お店の名前にもなっている「Dalahäst-ダーラへスト」はスウェーデン語直訳すると「ダーラナの馬」。
スウェーデン中部のダーラナ地方で作られている伝統工芸品の木彫りの馬のことです。
初めてストックホルムを訪れたとき、ホテルにもレストランにも、どんなお店に入ってもやたら目にする馬が気になり、ホテルのスタッフに「街中で見かけるあの馬はなに？」と尋ねると「ダーラへスト．．ラッキーホースよ！」と。
